She tried hard to bury her childhood behind her with her scholarships to a private school and to college. When her acceptance letter from Columbia Medical School came in, she did not know how she would pay for it until her best friend Melody registered her on the Sugar Daddies web site against her wishes.Dominic West, a successful billionaire businessman, was tired of gold-digging women who always wanted to get in his bed. His heart belonged to his business and he only used women when he had the need. His mother Elaine, thought her son worked too much and was pushing him to find a good woman. That was not happening.
Little did Kayla and Dom know, their best friends had other ideas for them. Melody, Mikayla's best friend in California, signed her up on the Sugar Daddies site for her to become a Sugar Baby, so she could pay for her 50K tuition at Columbia Medical School. Stephen, Dom's best friend persuaded him to sign up on the Down Daddies site when they were both out drinking. Under the influence of alcohol, they were both dooped into doing something they would never do sober. Both wanted to delete their profiles but there was just something about the innocence of Mikayla's picture that spoke to Dom. He'd give it a try if it would keep other artificially enhanced women, the paparazzi and his mother off of his back.
The plot almost worked until secrets were revealed about Mikayla's past that she wanted to keep buried and not ever relive again. Dominic was furious and did not give Kayla a chance to explain. She was devastated and heart broken because she had managed to fall in love and so did Dom.
Cristina wrote a heartbreaking love story about an abused young woman who fought hard to get out of the hell she grew up in. My heart broke reading how Melody told Dominic of the horrible things Mikayla had endured in her childhood. No one should have to live they way she did. It pulled at my heartstrings. The ability of an author to engage the reader with strong emotions is the mark of an excellent writer. I really enjoyed this story.

The Arrangement is Makayla and Dominic’s story and I enjoyed it from the beginning as they began a journey of discovery, trust, and realizing love. Even though their coming together was unconventional, Dominic seemed to be open to a relationship with Makayla and Makayla was drawn to him. Because of her past Makayla was not willing to enter into a relationship and open herself to hurt and the need to reveal the ugliness of her past. It is Makayla’s unwillingness to tell the complete truth about her past that causes a terrible rift in their growing relationship. Although she didn’t tell Dominic everything about her past I was taken aback by his somewhat violent response to the news that his mother revealed. As a result, Makayla is a broken woman and it is Dominic’s job to make her whole again. But will he? Don’t worry, I am sure you will love the true beginning of their story. You just have to read the story to find out how they get there.
The first story was beautiful and made me cry. The love story takes you threw every emotion you could imagine. It makes you believe in innoncence,love,hate, despair and heatbreak. A must read.
Interesting storyline and reasons for a breakdown in the relationship. Another very good read with an HEA from Cristina Grenier
The first book was the best thing I have read in a long time. Could not put it down. I got mad, happy. Sad , cried . Second book was a let down.
This book is well done. The only thing I had a slight problem with, is I feel like she let the lead male character off too easily. I wished she had the female lead tell him off too expel her pass demons and to make her look a bit stronger. Then later on finally let them resolve their issues through a test of time....I always find the male characters get off to easily. But overall the story was will told......
This story had it all bewilderment as a young teen having a scholarship to a private school only to go home and be beaten daily. Acceptance from Melody and later Dominic. Hurt from Dominic not letting Makayla explain her record. Love, that Melody would go to NY and tell Dominic off and Dominic realizing that he loved Makayla.
Great book and insight of a troubled child/adult.
Loved this book (s). Makayla was able to let go of her past and Dominic was able to open up his heart to the woman who showed him how to love. I loved reading this book and the extra added bonus book dealing with Killian and Nicole, excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the taking the Lord's name in vain and the vulgar sex. I had to by pass those things. Cristina your books are off the chain and will still be good reading without those things. Please know that this is not meant to be taken as judgement, only my opinion.
